Tammy’s Tips

Using frozen fruit is a fantastic way to enjoy a "fresh" tasting cobbler even when your favorite fruits are out of season! Once you've prepared the fruit this way, it’s ready to be used in my Favorite Fruit Cobbler recipe. If your fruit is particularly tart, you can taste the syrup once it’s warm and add a tablespoon or two more of sugar if needed. Just remember, this is the base that makes the whole cobbler sing, so don't skip that dash of salt,it really brings out the fruit's natural flavor!
