Ingredients
- Fresh strawberries (as needed)
- 1/4 cup salted butter (room temperature)
- 4 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 lb. powdered sugar (about 2 1/4 cups)
Instructions
- Cream Base: In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and butter together until the mixture is completely smooth.
- Flavor: Add the vanilla extract to the creamed mixture.
- Whip: Gradually blend in the powdered sugar. Once incorporated, whip the frosting for a full 4 minutes until it becomes light and fluffy.
- Prep Berries: Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries. Remove the leafy tops, then core the center. Trim the bottom tips flat so the strawberries can stand upright on a platter.
- Fill: Using a pastry bag, pipe the cream cheese mixture into the center of each strawberry.
- Garnish: For a professional touch, garnish each one with a leaf from the discarded tops.
- Chill: Refrigerate the stuffed strawberries until you are ready to serve.
