Ingredients
- The Coffee Base:
- 1 gallon of your favorite coffee, freshly brewed
- 1 cup sugar
- 16 oz. powdered creamer
- The Creamy Add-ins:
- 2 quarts whole milk
- 3 tsp vanilla extract
- The Finish:
- 3 quarts ice cream (vanilla, chocolate, or a mix of both)
Instructions
- Sweeten & Enrich: While the gallon of coffee is still hot, stir in the sugar and the powdered creamer until both are completely dissolved.
- Chill: Place the coffee mixture in the refrigerator and allow it to chill thoroughly. This step is important to keep the ice cream from melting too quickly later.
- Combine: Once the coffee is cold, stir in the whole milk and the vanilla extract.
- Assemble: When you are ready to serve, pour the coffee mixture into a large punch bowl.
- Add Ice Cream: Scoop the 3 quarts of ice cream into the punch bowl. The ice cream will float on top and slowly melt, creating a frothy, creamy texture.
- Serve: Ladle into small cups, making sure each guest gets a little bit of the creamy froth!
Notes
Tammy’s Tip: For an extra special touch, you can use half vanilla and half chocolate ice cream to give it a "Mocha" feel. If you’re making this for a morning brunch, it pairs perfectly with a slice of coffee cake!
