Ingredients

  • The Base:
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 3/4 cup almond milk (non-flavored)
  • The Coffee & Cream:
  • 1 packet Taster’s Choice Instant Colombian Singles
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • The Toppings:
  • Whipped cream
  • Hershey’s chocolate syrup (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Layer the Blender: Start by adding the ice cubes to your blender. Pour in the almond milk, then add the instant coffee packet.
  2. Add the Creaminess: Scoop in the vanilla ice cream last.
  3. Blend: Use the "crushed ice" or "smoothie" setting on your blender. Blend thoroughly until the mixture is perfectly smooth and slushy.
  4. Finish & Serve: Pour into a tall glass. Top with a generous swirl of whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup.
  5. Enjoy: Grab a wide straw and dive in!
  6. Variation: Java Chip Frappe
  7. To turn this into a Java Chip version, simply follow the ingredients and instructions above, but add 2 Tbsp of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips to the blender right after you add the coffee packet.

Notes

Tammy’s Tip: If you like your frappe extra strong, you can add a second packet of instant coffee! Using almond milk keeps it a little lighter, but feel free to use whole milk if that’s what you have on hand.
