- 1/2 tsp baking powder

Instructions
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, Hershey’s cocoa, salt, and baking powder until well combined.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large glass bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth.
- Combine: Gradually add the dry flour mixture to the wet butter mixture, stirring until thoroughly combined and no dry streaks remain.
- Prepare Pan: Pour the batter into a greased 7x11-inch or 9x9-inch baking pan. If desired, sprinkle a handful of chopped pecans evenly over the top.
- Bake: Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.
