Ingredients

  • 4-14.5 oz. cans French-style green beans, drained
  • 2-10.5 oz. cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 6 oz. container French Fried Onions

Instructions

  1. Mix Base: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, and soy sauce until well combined and smooth.
  2. Fold in Beans: Add the drained green beans and 1 cup of the French Fried Onions to the soup mixture. Stir gently until the beans are evenly coated.
  3. Assemble: Transfer the mixture into a well-greased baking dish, spreading it out to the edges.
  4. Top: Sprinkle the remaining French Fried Onions evenly over the top of the casserole.
  5. Bake: Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and the onions on top are golden brown.

Notes

Tammy’s Tips The soy sauce is the "secret ingredient" here,it adds a deep, salty richness that enhances the mushrooms in the soup. Make sure you drain those green beans really well so your casserole stays nice and creamy instead of watery. If you're feeding a smaller crowd, you can easily halve this recipe and use an 8x8-inch pan!
