Ingredients
- 1 cup Uncooked jasmine rice
- 1 3/4 cups Water
Instructions
- Boil: In a medium saucepan, combine the uncooked jasmine rice and water. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.
- Simmer: Once boiling, immediately turn the heat down to low.
- Cover: Secure a tight-fitting lid on the saucepan. Allow the rice to simmer undisturbed for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Finish: Once all the water has been absorbed and the grains are tender, remove the pan from the heat. Let it sit covered for about 5 minutes, then fluff gently with a fork before serving.
