Ingredients
- 2 cups ham, finely diced
- 8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
- 8 oz. can crushed pineapple, thoroughly drained
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Prep Cream Cheese: Ensure your cream cheese is softened to room temperature. This is the secret to getting a smooth, spreadable consistency without lumps.
- Combine: In a medium mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese, diced ham, well-drained crushed pineapple, chopped pecans, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Blend: Using a hand mixer, blend all ingredients on medium speed until the mixture is thoroughly combined and reaches your desired smoothness.
- Chill: For the best flavor, let the spread sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the savory and sweet flavors to meld together.
- Serve: Serve chilled alongside your favorite buttery crackers or toasted bread rounds.
Notes
- Drain Well: Just like with our Pineapple Cream Cheese Ball, make sure to squeeze as much juice out of the pineapple as possible to keep your spread thick and creamy.
- Festive Garnish: For a beautiful presentation at a party, sprinkle a few extra chopped pecans or a pinch of fresh green herbs (like parsley or chives) over the top.
- Storage: Keep any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days
